Isn't it ironic?

I spent most of yesterday 'running errands' - which entails a lot of driving around and parking in various parking lots. It's funny how people will wait around for a close parking spot, considering so many Americans are overweight. We sit on our butts all day long, then drive somewhere and, rather than walk a few extra feet, sit and wait for the closest parking spot we can find, so we can get even less exercise.

The thing that drives me nuts is when I'm at a 'health food' store like Trader Joe's or Wild Oats, and see people who are going there because they want to eat better and be healthier sit in their cars for five minutes rather than park 30 or 40 feet further. Oh, the irony...
